Content

In this course, students acquire knowledge of advanced micro- and macroeconomic concepts and models of labor economics. We focus on the theoretical methods and formal tools necessary to understand current research on labor market phenomena (wages and unemployment). The course deals extensively with models of imperfectly competitive labor markets, in particular with collective bargaining and search-and-matching models.
