Notice

All regular lectures and exercises will take place online. The related materials will be made available in the respective e-learning course. Every two weeks, we will meet in person for a classroom session. During these sessions, questions regarding the lectures, exercises and homework assignments raised by the course participants will be answered.

Students can participate in the final exam only if they participate and pass at least 70% of all given weekly homework assignments. The final grade is given solely based on students’ performance in the final exam. The weekly assignments, which are supplementary to the main lectures and exercises, will contribute to guiding you through topics of microeconomic theory at the Master level.

The assignments will be made available on the e-learning platform every week. Please make sure that you do not miss any of the assignments.

This course covers microeconomic theory at an advanced level. Topics include consumer and producer theory, partial equilibrium analysis, general equilibrium analysis and game theory. The emphasis of the course is on developing a formal model-based treatment of these subjects.
